Privacy and cookie policy

1. Person responsible

Gamache Média operates gamache.ai. The Privacy Officer is Olivier Gamache, co-founder: olivier@gamachemedia.com, 570 Victoria Avenue, Saint-Lambert, Québec.

2. Information collected

What you send us

Name, email address, telephone number, company and description of your needs. This data is transmitted to our servers, sent by email through our email provider, and entered into our customer relationship management tool for follow-up.

Interactive diagnostic

Your questionnaire answers and stated business sector are used to produce your results and, if you provide your contact information, to discuss them with you.

Calls

If you call a number displayed on the website, our call-tracking service records call metadata: number, duration, originating page and campaign.

Browsing

Pages viewed, referral source, device, truncated IP address and campaign parameters (utm, gclid), through cookies and session storage.

3. Use

We use information to:

• respond to requests and prepare a proposal;
• provide and invoice our services;
• measure website traffic and campaign effectiveness;
• ensure website security and proper operation.

We never sell your information and do not make decisions based exclusively on automated processing.

4. Cookies

A banner appears on your first visit. Cookies are grouped into Necessary (always active), Functional, Analytics and Advertising categories. The preference panel provides the detailed list and retention periods.

5. Service providers

• Google Analytics — audience measurement;
• Google Tag Manager — measurement-tag management;
• Google Search Console — search visibility monitoring; does not place a cookie on the website;
• CallRail — telephone call tracking and attribution;
• HubSpot — customer relationship management and request follow-up;
• SMTP2GO — delivery of transactional and form emails;
• CookieYes — cookie-consent management;
• website hosting and content-distribution services.

Each provider accesses only the data required to deliver its service.

6. Transfers outside Québec

Several of these providers store data outside Québec, including in the United States. Protection measures are assessed before any transfer, as required by Law 25.

7. Retention and security

• requests that do not proceed: 3 years after the last exchange;
• clients: 7 years after the engagement ends;
• browsing data: according to each cookie’s duration, up to 2 years.

We use restricted access, two-factor authentication and encryption. Information is destroyed or anonymized when its retention period ends.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your information and withdraw consent at any time by writing to olivier@gamachemedia.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also seek recourse from Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.

9. Incidents and changes

If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information and the individuals concerned. This policy may be updated; the date appears at the top of the page.
